I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Communication Arts & Literature from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. My education roles as teacher and eLearning support have given me the experience needed to design interactive learning modules, facilitate trainings and collaborative meetings, and organize learning management systems. 

The grammar geek in me was not yet satisfied, so I earned a Post-Graduate Certificate in Scientific & Technical Communication from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Years of freelance writing and experience working as a business analyst in an agile environment have given me a solid foundation for analyzing and designing requirements, managing projects, and creating clear and concise documentation.

Determined to make good use of my time during quarantine, I utilized  freecodecamp and udemy classes to earn my Responsive Web Design certification and moved on to learn full-stack development and Python. Coding is challenging and invigorating at the same time. I love it!
